Include ClubWPT Gold rake structure for Straddle + Ante game. Or at least include rake structures for multi sizes..

Rake in these games accounts for as much as 14bb/20bb per 100 hands this is far too much to just have us studying a rakeless structure or a rake structure that is 0.1bb cap. When in actuality caps are 1bb-3bb.

Right now to study straddle + ante it cost $100 a month and I can only study a rakeless environment if I want to use multiple sizings. In order to study with the rake I would have to subscribe to elite or ultra sub which cost $150-300 a month and then I would have to make all of my own drills since I couldn’t just pick a solution and start drilling it. That would mean each time I want to study a spot I would have to pick this certain board, train only certain positions. Etc.

It doesn’t make sense to have the main two solutions single sized with 0.1bb and multisize with no rake, when no actual games play like this. Even if you do not want to have something specific to ClubWPT Gold which is only american players, Still online poker across the board is mainly a high rake scenario. If you know somewhere I can play with a 0.1bb cap or no rake please let me know.

Where does the rake structure of 0.1bb cap come from?
The minimum cap where I play is 1bb, the cap for lower stakes is as large as 3bb!!!!

Here is account of someone who plays same site as me, again, I imagine that the rake will be similar on other sites so this experience will be the same pretty much for all sites not just ClubWPT.

FROM REDDIT:

“As of April 16th 2026 here is the rake structure on clubwpt gold. The rake structure is 5% with a cap dependent on game size i.e. a 3 or 4 handed game will get a discounted cap where as any 5 plus person game will get the full cap applied.

stakes are recorded as SB/BB/STRADDLE):

0.02/0.05/0.10: 5% up to 0.30

0.05/0.10/0.20: 5% up to 0.60

0.10/0.20/0.40: 5% up to 1.20

0.20/0.50/1.00: 5% up to 2.00

0.50/1.00/2.00: 4% up to 4.00

1.00/2.00/4.00: 4% up to 8.00

2.00/4.00/8.00: 4% up to 8.00

3.00/6.00/12.00: 4% up to 12.00

5.00/10.00/20.00: 4% up to 20.00

Anecdote on BB/100 Lost:

I played NL20 for 30k hands and had a win rate of 10bb/100 over the sample. The games were tremendously fishy, and I felt as if I was significantly better than the pool. I personally estimate that I paid around 20bb/100 in rake. This 30k-hand sample really made me appreciate the importance of anti-rake strategies while playing.

For my own purposes, assuming TAG play and rake-conscious strategies, I estimate the rake at NL40 to take about 15bb/100 from my win rate, and NL100 to take about 10bb/100. “

If I am wrong about something or am misunderstanding how it works please correct me. I hope I am wrong about this but from what I’m seeing right now if you study this rakeless structure then go to play the actual game you’re leaving 10-20bb/100 on the table that you’re losing to the rake because you didn’t learn to play a strategy that accounted for the rake.
